Pirate's Booty Necklace with coins and colored beads on plated aluminum chain
Pirate's Booty Necklace with coins and metalized beads on plated brass chain
"Pirate's Booty" Coin-Covered Neck Chain
As Captain Jack Sparrow once said, "Not all treasure is silver and gold, Mate".
Of course, some seriously shiny booty never hurts a true pirate's reputation as the fiercest on the seas!
This chain will give your Pirate persona tons of street cred...or "deck cred", as the case may be. Choose from styles that contains all replication antique coins from around the globe, a mix of replica coins with freshwater pearls, colored glass beads, and antiqued faux cinnabar beads, or a mix of replica coins with metalized beads. All design options are strung on your choice of light-weight gold-plated aluminum chain or heavy-weight gold-plated brass chain.
A Young Lady Aged 21, Possibly Helena Snakenborg (shown with detail)
Later Marchioness of Northampton, c. 1569
Oil on oak panel, presented by the Friends of the
Tate Gallery in 1961
"A number of portraits from the 1560s seem to be by the painter of this work, whose identity is unknown. Characteristic features include the angle at which the face is presented and the soft treatment of the hair.
The sitter may be Elizabeth I's maid of honour, Helena Snakenborg, who became a powerful figure at court. In 1565 she had visited England with the Swedish princess Cecilia, remaining there as the fiancée of the elderly Marquis of Northampton, whom she was to marry in 1571. The carnation behind her ear may be a symbol of her betrothal."
