Rosary/Paternoster Collection

Skull Rosary, Late 16th Century, Spain

Skull Rosary
A replication of a late-16th Century rosary currently located in Spain and thought to have originated in Mexico, this single-line paternoster features 12mm carved bone beads, 10mm corrugated bicone beads (available in either precious metal or metalized molded acrylic), 6mm and 4mm round metal beads, all hand-wired together to create a durable strand that will last you
for years to come.
This stunning rosary is finished on one end with a either a continuous silver-tone ring that has a 17mm opening or a 15mm thicker gold or silver-plated band with a twisted design. The opposite end is completed by a precious metal-plated ornate stamping with pendants made from a delicate plated 13mm crosslet and corrugated and matching beads.

Choose either the 15" replication piece pictured above with 7 ave skull beads, or opt for an even decade of 10 ave skulls. Additional decades are available - email me for prices per decade.

Modern Rosary
Wondering what to get that special bride-to-be?
Look no further, as these rosaries are the perfect "something new" gift!

For those who prefer to live in modern times, here is a more modern rosary to suit your tastes. This is the rosary design that is commonly seen today, having five decades forming a loop with a dainty Virgin Mary medal at the center, from which a "tail" with cross decends.
The piece is made of hand-wired links containing 6mm ave Czech glass beads and gaud sections made with 10mm Czech glass beads surrounded by metal bead caps and 2mm Czech glass rocaille/seed beads (shown above with crystal AB aves and gauds, and topaz rocailles). With the exception of the smooth round pearls, all beads used will have a fire-polished faceted finish.

Semi-precious stone beads, Celestial Crystal, and/or Swarovski Austrian crystal beads are also available for your rosary's beads - contact me with your preference in materials to obtain a price for your piece.
